Fall 2018 New International Student Orientation


The UC San Diego International Students & Programs Office (ISPO) is excited to meet you in person!  The International Student Orientation program is your first chance to experience all that UC San Diego has to offer you. iTriton Online Training


All new international students in F-1/J-1 status (including transfer students from other U.S. schools) are required to complete the mandatory iTriton Online Training. iTriton Online Training information will be coming soon.


International Student Document Self-Check


After arrival into the USA, students must complete the International Student Document Self-Check within 15 days of their program start date at UC San Diego.


J-1 Exchange Visitor Information


In addition to the information provided to all students in F-1 and J-1 status during orientation, J-1 students and any J-2 dependents should keep themselves informed about The Exchange Visitor Program, as well as their J-1 rights and resources, by reading copies of the Welcome to the Exchange Visitor Program brochure from the Department of State, and the Wilberforce Pamphlet on the Rights and Protections of Temporary Workers.
