Outreach Trivia Night

Date & Time: Mondays 7-8pm

Location: Muir Woods Coffee House

Description: Venture over to Muir to meet new people and test your knowledge of various trivia categories! Free entry to all UCSD students and prizes for the winning team. Make this a weekly event and turn up the competition! All students welcome. Come with friends or by yourself to join a team of four!

Passport to Culture

Date & Time: Thursdays 3-4pm

Location: I-House Kathmandu Lounge

Description: Earn your passport and travel to the country of the week! Learn about life and culture from current students who have lived and studied in various regions of the world. Enjoy a taste of traditional food from the highlighted region each week.

Outreach goes Horseback Riding!

Date & Time: Friday, January 19th to Sunday, January 21st 

Location: Guadalupe Valley

Description: Join the Outreach Coordinators as we partner with Outback Adventures for a three day, two-night horseback riding trip through Guadalupe Valley in Mexico! After some instruction, we’ll hit the trails through shady oak groves and quiet valleys. We’ll stay in ranch style cabins in La Bellota Ranch while being catered by an incredible ranch chef. Join us for this bucket list experience! $295 per person, $100 scholarship available to international and out of state students. Email grfuller@ucsd.edu to apply for the scholarship.

Language Conversation Tables (LCT)

Date & Time: TBD

Location: International House

Description: Each quarter a variety of language tables are led by hosts and attended by students, staff, faculty, and anyone from the public willing to join. Language Tables provide the chance to teach and learn a language in a natural environment, through conversation with someone who is fluent/conversational in that language. They take place weekly.
