DOCUMENT MAILING INSTRUCTIONS

You have the following mailing options in order to receive a document from the International Students & Programs Office (ISPO) through mail:

  • Standard Domestic Mail: for free mailing of documents within the U.S.
  • Express and International Mail: for paid mailing of documents outside the U.S., or for faster delivery of documents inside and outside the U.S.
  • See the information below for more details.

Standard Domestic Mail

If you would like an ISPO-issued document to be mailed to you to any destination within the U.S. using standard mail, free of charge, ISPO will use USPS standard mail service. This service does not come with a tracking number and it may take up to 2 weeks to deliver.

In order to receive an ISPO-issued document, you will first need to request it from ISPO using the appropriate form in our online request system iPortal. Make sure to leave your preferred delivery address in your iPortal request.

If you need to update/change your delivery address for a specific document, email the new U.S.-based address to istudents@ucsd.edu . If your new delivery address is outside the U.S., then follow the instructions for international mail in the drawer below.
